WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was hospitalized after suffering a fall in Florida on Friday, prompting concern among fans about his health.
His daughter, Charlotte Flair, has since shared an update on his condition. She mixed reassurance with a characteristically playful reference to her father’s wrestling history.
The incident came just hours after Ric announced that a blood clot in his leg had forced him to withdraw from a scheduled appearance at a fan convention in Seattle.
Charlotte Flair confirms Ric Flair is expected to be okay
According to reports from TMZ, Ric fell outside a Wagamama restaurant in Florida and sustained cuts to his head and eye. He was taken to the hospital following the incident.
Charlotte addressed the situation on social media, offering a positive update while poking fun at her father’s explanation to medical staff.
“Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head… (ps: he’s going to be ok),” Charlotte wrote.

Her message referenced Ric’s history with The Ultimate Warrior, whom he wrestled in 1992. Ric has previously spoken about experiencing balance problems and vertigo after facing Warrior, who died in 2014.
The playful comment provided some reassurance amid concerns about the 77-year-old wrestling legend’s condition. Charlotte’s update indicated that he was expected to be okay. Nevertheless, no further medical details were provided in the information available.
Ric had already revealed that the blood clot in his leg would prevent him from attending the Seattle convention. The issue has affected his schedule before. He also cancelled an appearance at the Cauliflower Alley Club during the summer for the same reason.
The fall added another health concern to an already difficult day for the former world champion. However, Charlotte’s message offered fans a reason to feel more reassured about his immediate condition.
For a wrestler whose career included decades of hard-fought battles inside the ring, Ric’s latest setback has drawn concern from the wrestling community. For now, the most encouraging update has come from his daughter, who says he is going to be okay.
