George Clooney may not make an appearance in The Devil Wears Prada 2 himself, but his Italy home has a star turn!
The actor's stunning property in Lake Como, Villa Oleandra, makes a cameo in the upcoming sequel to the 2006 hit The Devil Wears Prada. Viewers can even catch a glimpse of the waterfront abode in the trailer as characters Andy (Anne Hathaway) and Emily (Emily Blunt) zoom towards it on a boat.
Clooney, 64, shared his reaction to finding out the villa is in the movie during an interview with Access Hollywood published on Tuesday, April 28.
“Is it really? Oh man, I made it,” he joked. “Well, the house holds a special place in my heart because I love going there.”
“And Emily is just a dear friend,” he continued of Blunt, who tied the knot with husband John Krasinski at Villa Oleandra in 2010. “That whole cast… I can't wait. Has it come out? It's going to be a big hit.”

Earlier this month, Blunt told Access Hollywood what it was like to return to the place where she got married during an interview with her costar Stanley Tucci, who is also her brother-in-law.
“It was very special for John and I to go back, and to go back with these guys,” she said of filming the sequel, which hits theaters on Friday, May 1. “We actually took a photograph with the four of us on Lake Como. It was just so wonderful.”
Referring to Blunt and Krasinski, Tucci chimed in, “Where they got married was in the background.”

After she's asked about the venue being Clooney's villa, Blunt nods and says she sent the photo to the actor right after.
During an interview with Elle in 2016, Krasinski opened up about how he and his wife didn't believe Clooney right away when he first offered up his estate as the pair's wedding venue.

"Only on the fourth ask did I say yes,” The Office alum recalled. “Because the first three times I thought, there's no way he is serious."

Clooney — who married lawyer Amal Clooney in 2014 and welcomed their twins Alexander and Ella in June 2017 — reportedly purchased Villa Oleandra from the Heinz family in 2002 for approximately $10 million, according to The Washington Post.

After he purchased an adjacent property, the 25-room villa became “one of the largest private homes in the area,” The Wall Street Journal reported in 2023.
While reports of George selling his beloved estate circulated in 2023, a rep for the actor told PEOPLE at the time that the rumors were not true. Lake Como is a special place for Clooney, as it's where he first met his wife Amal in 2013, he revealed in a 2017 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
