Here's What '90s Supermodel Yasmeen Ghauri Looks Like Now

The '90s were a golden age for the modeling world and it gave us some of the biggest household names today. We still think about some of them often (like Naomi Campbell's most iconic looks from the '90s). Further, it's also hard not to wonder what many supermodels of the era look like now. You probably aren't surprised to learn that Linda Evangelista is still an absolute stunner today. Other trailblazers of the time, like Yasmeen Ghauri, are less talked about now than the likes of Campbell and Evangelista, but we still wonder about her all the same. Ghauri is of Pakistani and German descent and, during her rise to fame in the early '90s, she helped to usher in a more diverse era for the modeling industry. In fact, she was the first South Asian woman to become a Victoria's Secret Angel — a huge accomplishment at the time. More recently, Ghauri is still a knockout. She posted a photo of herself on Instagram in 2022 alongside fellow supermodel Helena Christensen.

As you can see, Ghauri is a vision. For starters, we must know who her facialist is — there isn't a single skin imperfection in sight. And, she's even joined the exclusive club of celebrities who proudly show off their gray hair. Most importantly, though, she looks totally content with her life.

Yasmeen Ghauri is more mysterious than other supermodels of the '90s

Even today, there's plenty of buzz around supermodels of the past. Many still cite the 'trinity' of '80s and '90s supermodels as total BFF goals, but Yasmeen Ghauri is a bit more mysterious. While we've gotten to know supermodels like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Linda Evangelista quite well, we can't say the same about Ghauri. It's a bit of a shame considering that Ghauri was so influential in the modeling industry, but it's also commendable that she wanted to live a quieter life. The former supermodel doesn't do many interviews, but she often shares special moments from her modeling career on her Instagram page. In 2023, she posted a sweet tribute to Karl Lagerfeld and reminisced about the work the two did together.
Comparing this post to what she looks like now, Ghauri looks almost the same as she did all those years ago. Her gorgeous bone structure and flawless skin prove it. We love that she shares so many fun moments from her modeling career on social media and we (selfishly) hope she'll soon start sharing more of her beauty routine too.
