Huge Arizona wildfire ‘0% contained’ after burning through nearly 1,000 acres

A wildfire in Arizona has been deemed ‘0% contained’ after it burned through nearly 1,000 acres of brush land over the weekend.
Aerial firefighting measures have been taken in an attempt to tackle the Hazen fire, which was sparked on Saturday afternoon near Buckeye, Arizona.

Helicopter footage shows plumes of smoke rising hundreds of feet into the air as the fire spread north, fanned by winds of up to 30mph.
The state department of forestry and fire management confirmed the fire was 0% contained on Saturday, meaning officials were not confident the fire would remain within any current perimeters established to control the fire.
