- *Full House* alum Jodie Sweetin says in a new interview that she and her costars visited Disney World together this month while in Florida for a fan convention.

- The actress and her costars on the sitcom, which aired from 1987 to 1995, have remained close.

- The group was escorted by security, but some fans still needed help recognizing them in the dark.

Well, don’t worry about having to wonder if it’s John Stamos.

His fellow *Full House** *alum Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner on the iconic ‘80s sitcom, explained Monday on the *Good Guys Podcast** *hosted by Josh Peck and Ben Soffer that she recently visited Walt Disney World with the former Jesse Katsopolis, and he wasn’t hiding at all. Far from it.

“John would get recognized, but we had kind of a lull in it,” Sweetin said. “And he was like, ‘We’ve got to get recognized more.’ So we’d be like jokingly walking around and he’d just be like, ‘Have mercy.’ And then I’d be like, ‘How rude.’ It was ridiculous.”

Their character’s signature lines helped do the trick.

They were even easier to recognize, as they were accompanied by two of their former costars, Lori Loughlin and Andrea Barber. (Dave Coulier was also in Orlando for the city’s Nostalgia Con, but Sweetin said he wasn’t at the theme park, because “he, after the cancer, just doesn’t quite have the the energy.”)

The TGIF sitcom, which originally aired from 1987 to 1995, set a two-part episode at Disney World in 1993.

They had a blast.

“We all went to Magic Kingdom, and we went on a bunch of rides and roller coasters and watched the parade and the fireworks,” Sweetin said. “It was so much fun, and it was a moment. I mean, we haven’t been together in Disney World for 30-some odd years.”

She said they turned to Stamos, who famously loves Disney, for his expertise.

“I will say, if you’re ever going to do Disney, do it with John because you know he’s got his awesome guides who he’s had for like 20 years,” Sweetin said. “They’re like part of his family now, and they were so sweet and wonderful. We had a couple security [officers], that night when it was all of us. We had, I think, two guides and like three security [guards]. But it was funny because we’re walking around and it was nighttime, so people are not paying [as much] attention, but the guides give you away. They see two guides walking and they’re like, ‘Who is [that]? Oh, my god.’”

The actress said she enjoyed spending time with Stamos, his wife Caitlin McHugh, and their 8-year-old son, Billy.

She recalled that they’d all “geeked out over the Muppets.”

Sweetin recalled sharing a laugh with McHugh, after Sweetin said of Stamos, “He just can’t go anywhere. Always gets recognized.’ And [McHugh] goes, ‘Don’t worry. He’ll be sad when they don’t [recognize him].”

Sweetin said it’s not lost on her what dedicated fans *Full House* has all these years later.

“We have such amazing, sweet fans that get so excited,” she said. “We were just talking about how grateful we are, actually, to get recognized and, 40 years later, people still give a s--- about the show. We were just in this immense gratitude that, like, ‘Wow, look at how much joy we get to bring to people in just little moments of time, and it’s really cool.’”
