Most people spend the morning making sure their slip dress stays perfectly in place. Julia Fox spent Monday night proving it looks much cooler when it doesn't. At the Marc Jacobs Spring 2027 show in New York, the actress embraced an intentionally askew take on the classic slip dress, layering delicate pastels in a way that looked artfully undone.
The Uncut Gems star arrived ready to watch the show at the New York Public Library wearing what appeared to be two slips at once.

The base of her ensemble was a silky lavender dress with a scalloped V-neckline, while a sheer blush-pink slip was draped over the top, its lace-trimmed neckline slipping off one shoulder and wrapping diagonally across her body.
Instead of sitting neatly where it belonged, the outer layer looked shifted out of place. And that optical illusion upped the ante from a traditional slip into something a little bit more daring, playful, and distinctly Julia Fox.

The layered effect continued below the hemline. Rather than showing off her bare legs or neutral tights, Fox punctuated her attire with sheer violet thigh-high stockings finished with a wide lace band. The result was an unexpected (but welcome) pop of color beneath the airy pastel dresses that gave a fairy-like appearance.
She completed the look with glossy bubblegum-pink pumps, proving that color coordination doesn't always have to be subtle. A pale cream version of Marc Jacobs' new Scene shoulder bag and a sparkling heart-shaped crystal ring rounded out the accessories.
Her beauty look followed the same formula. Fox notably ditched her signature dark hair earlier this month for a warm dirty-blonde shade. For the show, she styled her tresses in a loose, low ponytail with soft face-framing pieces. Matching bleached brows, smoky charcoal eyes, lavender shadow, and a rosy pink lip echoed the dreamy palette of the outfit that gave her otherwise whimsical ensemble a dose of party girl edge.
