Lil Wayne didn't show up for a recent concert in Maine
The rapper was supposed to perform at the Bangor Waterfront on Tuesday, June 30, but was a no-show, per the Bangor Daily News and WABI
Wayne canceled a concert in August 2025 due to "unforeseen illness"
Lil Wayne was a no-show at his latest concert.
According to the Bangor Daily Newsand WABI, the rapper (real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) skipped out on his performance at the Bangor Waterfront in Bangor, Maine on Tuesday, June 30.
Per the Bangor Daily News, Wayne, 43, was supposed to follow 2 Chainz's set at 10:45 p.m. However, at 11 p.m., the audience was told the "A Milli" musician wouldn't be performing and that the show was ending.

According to WABI, Waterfront Concerts President Alex Gray issued an apology to fans and said this was the first time this had ever happened to them. He said the venue even asked the city to extend the curfew, per the outlet.
Opening act 2 Chainz performed as scheduled. A DJ then played for several hours before the crowd was dismissed around 11 p.m.
An artist statement was issued to WABI but was later removed.
PEOPLE has reached out to reps for Wayne, as well as the Bangor Waterfront.
Wayne's performance on Tuesday night was set to be the inaugural stop on the extended 20 Years of Carter Classics tour dates.

In August 2025, the "Lollipop" artist pulled out of his Toronto concert due to "unforeseen illness."
"Due to unforeseen illness, Wayne's Toronto show tonight will be postponed," the venue wrote in a statement on X. "As his fans know, he loves putting on nothing short of the best performances for those who come out, and he was so excited for this one."
In a separate post on the platform, they added: "Please stay tuned for the new date coming soon. All previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the new date once announced."
At the time, no additional details about the illness or cancellation were provided, and PEOPLE reached out to Wayne's reps for comment.

When that gig was canceled, Wayne was in the midst of his Tha Carter VI tour.
Wayne's current string of dates is set to conclude on Oct. 23 in Knoxville, Tenn.
