- *Love Island USA* star Alannah Keyser is speaking out after getting pulled from the show on June 25.
- Her removal came after a resurfaced video and alleged social media post showed her using the N-word.
- Keyser apologized for the video but claimed the screenshots were "falsified."
Alannah Keyser is ready to address her surprise exit from *Love Island USA*.
On Saturday, the reality star — who was booted from the show mere days after entering the Villa as a bombshell — shared a TikTok addressing her abrupt departure.
Keyser was booted after a resurfaced video of her using the N-word began making the rounds online. The video saw her rapping along to Roddy Ricch’s 2019 track "The Box," with the lyrics including the racial slur.
"I'm coming on here to address some things that have been circulating online," Keyser began her June 27 video. "I do want to begin by addressing the video of me singing along to a Roddy Ricch song that contains a racial slur. I’m sorry to whoever has seen that video and has been offended by it, that was never my intention. The video is from six years ago, and that word is just not in my vocabulary anymore."

Keyser then addressed the fact that days after the lip-syncing video began circulating online, fans also began sharing an alleged screenshot of her using a racist slur on social media.
Denying that she wrote the post, Keyser said the screenshots were "falsified," adding, "What has been shared does not reflect the truth, and it's never been in my character to discriminate against anybody's skin color."
She continued, "I do want to say directly that I do not support racism or discrimination of any kind, and I never have. When I first found out that these things were going around online, it really broke my heart, and I couldn't do anything about it. But this has definitely been a learning lesson for me, and it sucks that I didn't get a chance to really show my personality and who I am."

In a written message at the end of the video, Keyser added, "It's always been in my nature to spread positivity and help others, and I will continue to do so.”
Keyser was ejected from *Love Island *on June 25, after entering the season as a Casa Amor bombshell and sparking a connection with season 8 Islander Zach Georgiou. The offending video reportedly did not appear to have been shared publicly until after Keyser joined the show in episode 17 and producers were not aware of it at the time of the vetting process.
On this season alone, Keyser is the second* Love Island USA* contestant to get the boot for saying the N-word. In late May, before season 8 even began airing, Vasana Montgomery was removed from the villa after resurfaced videos showed her using the N-word.

Montgomery addressed the controversy in a social media post, writing, "I am deeply sorry. I am embarrassed and disappointed by my words. I take full responsibility for what I said and understand why it has hurt and upset people."

She continued, "I believe people should be held accountable for their actions, but I also believe in growth, learning, and becoming better. To anyone I hurt or disappointed, I am truly sorry.”
Last season, Yulissa Escobar was removed from *Love Island USA* during the second episode after a video of her using the same slur during a podcast appearance went viral. Fellow season 7 Islander Cierra Ortega was later removed from the villa for using a racial slur targeting Asian people.
