Miley Cyrus is as excited as her fans for the upcoming 20th anniversary of *Hannah Montana**.*

On Tuesday, the former child star and Disney Channel icon shared a trailer on social media for the *Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special*, which will stream March 24 on Disney+ — exactly two decades since it first aired.

"Already getting emotional," Cyrus says at the start of the trailer, as she walks down a hallway onto the iconic *Hannah Montana *set.

The trailer also shows Cyrus wearing her iconic blonde wig, a throwback to her days playing teenage girl Miley Stewart, who lives a double life as famous pop singer Hannah Montana. There are also clips of gleeful fans, with Cyrus emphasizing that this anniversary special is "for them."

Cyrus' parents also appear in the trailer. Billy Ray Cyrus, who played dad Robby Ray Stewart on the show, is seen dancing alongside his daughter, while Tish Cyrus looks through photo albums with her.

*Call Her Daddy*'s Alex Cooper, who will host the special, reflects on the long-lasting impact of *Hannah Montana *in the trailer, telling Cyrus that "this show defined a generation."

Cyrus recently told *Variety** *that she was "working hard" on finding ways to mark two decades since the series first aired on the Disney Channel, teasing that her sporting bangs — like her Hannah Montana persona — was one clue that plans were underway.**

Disney previously announced that the special would be filmed in front of a live studio audience and feature an in-depth interview with Cyrus, never-before-seen archival footage, along with some "familiar *notes* that find their way back into the spotlight."
