Peacock Raises Prices Again, Increasing Cost for WWE Fans

WWE fans who rely on Peacock to watch special events will soon have to pay more.
NBCUniversal has announced another price increase for the streaming service, with the changes taking effect immediately for new subscribers and next month for existing customers.
The timing is notable, arriving just weeks before WWE’s special Sunday Night’s Main Event on Sept. 6. While the show is still headed to Peacock, accessing it live will now come at a higher monthly cost for many subscribers.
Peacock Premium price hike impacts WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event viewers
According to Variety, Peacock is increasing prices across all of its subscription plans beginning Aug. 18 for new and returning customers.
Existing subscribers will see the new rates apply on or after Sept. 17, depending on their next billing date. Customers on promotional offers will keep their current pricing until those promotions expire.
The biggest change for WWE fans affects Peacock Premium, the plan required to stream live sports and events.

The ad-supported Premium tier rises from $10.99 to $12.99 per month, while the annual plan increases from $109.99 to $129.99. Premium Plus moves from $16.99 to $19.99 per month, with the yearly price climbing from $169.99 to $199.99. Peacock Select also increases by $1, reaching $8.99 per month, though it does not include live sports or WWE programming.
Peacock said the price adjustments will help the service “remain competitive in the marketplace” while continuing to invest in its programming.
The increase marks Peacock’s fourth price hike in four years and follows the platform’s first profitable quarter. NBCUniversal recently reported that Peacock reached 48 million paid subscribers, helped by major sports coverage and other programming.
For WWE viewers, the Premium tier remains the key subscription. While Premium Live Events now stream on ESPN under WWE’s 2026 media rights agreement, Sunday Night’s Main Event continues to air live exclusively on Peacock, and SmackDown episodes remain available on a 30-day delay.
The next Sunday Night’s Main Event takes place on Sept. 6 from Atlanta, meaning fans hoping to catch the action live will need to keep an eye on more than just the match card — they’ll also notice the higher bill.
