- Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared on *The View *for another impassioned interview.

- Sunny Hostin confronted the former congresswoman on several topics, including transphobic comments and the Jan. 6 insurrection.

- "I haven't received apologies back from so many people that attacked me," Greene said.

Former congresswoman and past political chaos agent Marjorie Taylor Greene visited *The View* Wednesday for another stop on her ongoing reformation press tour, where she fielded blunt inquiries from the cohosts about Donald Trump, the Jan. 6 insurrection, and past transphobic comments.

In her second sit-down interview on the show in recent months, the Georgia politician — who resigned Monday from her post in Congress — addressed several controversies surrounding the current president and herself, including Trump's recent raid on Venezuela and her decision to leave office.

Joy Behar inquired about her break with Trump, as she was once a vocal ally of the president before their relationship soured publicly, leading to Trump unleashing a string of admonishments for Greene.**

"The toxic nature of politics is something that grew and grew to really bother me, deeply. It's also the language we see across both sides of the aisle," Greene said after Behar asked about Trump's temperament, which prompted the comedian to cut in and ask, "So what?" and remind Greene that "we're talking about *him*," and not both major parties in general.

"I said I'm taking my part, I'm only in control of me," Greene replied. "I don't want to be part of that anymore. I want to focus on politics and policies and actions, instead of focusing on individuals, because our country is so divided," before stressing that she "has apologized" for her past incendiary comments that served to further the political divide.

"So, you apologized to people like AOC and Jasmine Crockett and your colleague, who you made fun of her transgender child?" Sunny Hostin jumped in to ask, referencing Greene's transphobic actions against Rep. Marie Newman, who has a trans daughter, in 2021. "Have you made specific apologies to those people, especially your colleauge who had a transgender child, because you have a child as well, and who you taunted?"

Greene emphasized that she "made a blanket apology" on her part, but hasn't "received apologies back from so many people that attacked me" in the past as well.

"Again, I'm the only one taking accountability and taking a big step in that direction. Really, the responsibility belongs on everyone to do that," she finished.**

Hostin later pressed Greene on accusations that the ex-congresswoman's recent appearances in the press — in which she's presented herself as a more even-tempered, level-headed voice of reason aiming to minimize the Democrat-Republican rift — is merely deceptive "self-preservation" and that she might be the same "toxic politician that you were" underneath it all.

"I'm not running for Senate, I'm not running for governor, I'm not running for president," Greene said, telling Hostin that she has no further ambitions for office that would benefit from such a manipulative tactic. Hostin then confirmed, "We won't see those campaigns?" to which Greene replied with a firm, "No."

Greene told Hostin that she's "not trying to climb the ladder," and that she's only concerned with using her "voice to pull Americans on the right and left to focus on our collective problems," such as grocery prices and affordable housing for young people who don't see a future because of economic burdens.

"Now you should become a Democrat," Behar said, as *The View* audience laughed. "Actually, Joy, I'm going to push back on that, it's Democrats and Republicans together that have put us in nearly $40 trillion in debt," Greene responded.

While Greene eventually said she hasn't confirmed whether or not she's leaving the Republican party overall, she adamantly denied that even a personal plea from Trump himself could get her to return to office: "Absolutely not," Greene said, shutting down speculation.

Last year, Greene sat for another tense interview on *The View*, where she called the cohosts "victims of the political industrial complex" and confronted them for past words about her own political tactics.

"You all have attacked me many times on this show because of things you've read about me that weren't true, or clips you've seen," she said, with Hostin confirming, "We have" as she pursed her lips.

*The View* airs weekdays on ABC.**
