When asked the secret to a long marriage in an interview with Entertainment Tonight last year, Gill quipped, "I travel a lot. I'm on the road."
He and Grant laughed heartily about this, but it should be noted that she did not deny that plenty of time apart is a brilliant strategy for keeping a marriage going for the long haul.

In fact, Grant elaborates quite sweetly by saying, "Both of our lives involve a lot of travel ... I know that one thing we give each other is a lot of freedom. And part of that's marrying when we did. We kind of already had our rhythms there. But what my feeling is, I just love returning to him."
