Emma Grede, the British businesswoman famous for co-founding Good American alongside Khloe Kardashian, has made multiple headlines recently, as rift rumours between the two have begun to circulate. As per a report shared by The Sun, the friendship between the pair has essentially dissolved, with Khloe stepping back from the denim brand the two launched together back in October 2016.

Good American made a staggering one million dollars on its very first day. That being said, Khloe, now forty-two years old, has since been open about no longer feeling the need to stay as involved. As per her podcast Khloe in Wonderland, she explained,

"Good American is doing so well, and Good American is strong enough and stable enough to sustain on its own."

Away from Good American, Grede, who is forty-three years old, has built an impressive portfolio of her own. As per her profile on the Barack Obama Foundation, where she serves as a Board Member, Grede is a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist who has been named one of America's Richest Self-Made Women by Forbes from 2022 through 2024. She went on to co-found SKIMS with Kim Kardashian and, in 2025, launched sports apparel brand Off Season alongside fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk, the NFL and Fanatics.

As per a report shared by The Sun, an insider spoke out regarding what really went down between the two founders. The source claimed the reality star gradually stepped away from her duties with the fashion line.

"Over time, Khloe just wasn’t as involved – she started cancelling events and not promoting the brand," the source said.

The insider noted that Kardashian was dealing with a lot in her private life, but stressed that Emma Grede operates with a strict business mindset.

"She has a lot on in her personal life, as fans know, but Emma is a businesswoman first and foremost and that just didn’t wash with her," the source added.

The insider went on to claim that the business ceased to be a main focus for Kardashian, leaving Emma Grede to handle the heavy lifting.

"Khloe has so much going on and it just wasn’t a priority in her life. In theory, Khloe is still the founder of Good American but it’s Emma who does the hard work behind the scenes. I don’t think Khloe & Emma are on speaking terms now," the source noted.

Earlier this year, fans caught wind of some social media activity that set off heavy speculation online. Fans noticed that Khloe Kardashian was no longer following Emma Grede on Instagram, which sparked talks that their long friendship had hit a rough patch.

Outside of the online gossip, Grede has stayed busy building out her own personal brand. Back in 2021, she began popping up on screen as a guest investor for Shark Tank. She later made another television leap in 2024 when she joined the cast of Dragons' Den.

She didn't stop at television appearances, either. In 2025, she rolled out her podcast Aspire, and she followed that project up earlier this year by releasing her book Start With Yourself: A New Vision for Work & Life.

Emma Grede, who has four children, had also raised eyebrows over her unique family dynamic, as reports swirled around her professional relationship with Khloe Kardashian. Writing in her book Start With Yourself, the fashion entrepreneur got candid about balancing high-stakes business deals with home life. She even went as far as tagging herself a max three-hour mum.

When talking to The Wall Street Journal, she admitted that once noon hits on weekends, her one-on-one family time wraps up for the day.

"I am done with these four," she shared, explaining that she spends the rest of her hours on personal routines like hitting the gym, reading, or meditating.

Emma Grede did not hold back when discussing other mothers, either. She rolled her eyes at parents who spend endless hours prepping school lunchboxes or worrying over every single piece of food their kids eat. In her view, modern family life has taken a turn for the extreme.

"It’s a type of madness," she wrote, pointing out that trying to micromanage a child's entire routine only burns out the parents while doing no favors for the kids.

"Honestly, parenting is not that deep," she added.
