'SNL': Connor Storrie Reunites With 'Heated Rivalry's Hudson Williams in Surprise Appearance

Connor Storrie just reunited with his Heated Rivalry co-star, Hudson Williams, in a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live.

On Saturday, Feb. 28, Storrie, 26—who played Russian hockey star Ilya Rozanov in the HBO Max series based on Rachel Reid's novels—hosted SNL.

During a skit titled "Ice Skating," the plot featured a man (Tommy Brennan) proposing to his girlfriend (Veronika Slowikowska) at an ice skating rink on their one-year anniversary. She rejects the marriage offer, resulting in a relationship-ending chat that is repeatedly interrupted by a group of male friends behind them.

The woman attempts to be honest about her feelings during the vulnerable conversation, but the man can't help but react and respond to the cringeworthy antics of the skating men—which included Storrie, Mikey Day and Ben Marshall.

"Oh my gosh, you guys, look who finally showed up," Day said at one point as the couple argued.

That's when Williams, 25—who played Canadian hockey star Shane Hollander in Heated Rivalry—joined the men on the ice.

"Hudson!" Storrie exclaimed," as Williams skated toward him and embraced him in a big hug, prompting SNL's live audience to errupt into loud cheers.

"I know. It's pretty great," Hudson said. "Hey, sorry I'm late, fellas, but I have a serious question: Who's ready to skate their butts off?"

As the friend group continued skating, they appeared in a line with their hands resting on the shoulders of the person in front of them. "I've never felt so cool!" Hudson declared.

Later in the SNL episode, Hudson joined Storrie in introducing musical guests Mumford & Sons.

In the comments of an Instagram clip of the latter Storrie-Williams moment, Heated Rivalry fans could hardly contain their excitement.

One follower proclaimed, "Welcome to the COTTAGE HUDSON WILLIAMS... WE'VE MISSED U!!!"

Another shared, "Something in my heart healed when I saw Connor and Hudson together, thanks SNL."

Someone else echoed, "We made the right people famous. I love them so much."

A different Instagram user commented, "Never had I squealed with such glee over two men saying 4 words. 😂😂😂appalled at myself but such is the power and joy of being fans of Heated Rivalry."

Meanwhile, yet another follower echoed, "The way I squealed when Hudson showed up ❤️ This will be the crux of my mental health for the year."
